NOTICE OF MAJOR PERMIT AMENDMENT APPLICATIONS FILED BY ALLIANCE REGIONAL WATER AUTHORITY

The Gonzales County Underground Water Conservation District ("GCUWCD") received major permit amendment applications from Alliance Regional Water Authority ("ARWA "), 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666, requesting authorization to drill and complete two new water wells and increase ARWA’s authorized production and exportation limits under its existing permits by 1,320 acre-feet per year (ac-ft/yr) to a total limit of 11,620 ac-ft/yr.   The permit applications have been declared administratively complete by GCUWCD’s General Manager.  The two new wells are proposed to be located on the south side of Wolf Run Road approximately 1.5 miles east of its intersection with State Highway 304, and approximately 3 miles south of Delhi, Caldwell County, Texas.  The groundwater will be produced, exported, and used for public water supply purposes by ARWA's public water supply entity members, including the cities of Kyle, San Marcos, and Buda, and the Canyon Regional Water Authority.   Click here... to view a copy of the Notice.
